News Student Support

Ramadan and Eid were a truly special and eventful time for our lower primary students, with a range of meaningful and engaging activities organised by our Student Support Team (SSD).
Our Foundation to Year 2 students enjoyed a lunchtime program where they gathered to watch a short and engaging story highlighting the important values we learn through fasting and charity during Ramadan. This was followed by hands-on craft activities, where students created beautiful Eid lanterns and heartfelt cards. The excitement was evident, with all students leaving the session proudly holding their creations and sharing in the joy of Eid.
For our Year 3 and Year 4 students, SSD introduced a classroom challenge designed to promote a respectful, kind, and inclusive classroom culture, inspired by the teachings of the Qur鈥檃n and Sunnah. Each class was given a 鈥渂are tree,鈥 which symbolised the opportunity to grow through positive actions. As teachers observed students demonstrating beautiful akhlaaq and adaab towards one another, they were rewarded with stickers to help their tree flourish.
It was heartwarming to see our students actively applying their learning from adaab lessons, showing kindness, respect, and care for their peers. We are incredibly proud of all our Year 3 and 4 classes for their efforts and the positive environment they created. A big congratulations to Year 3A and Year 4A, whose trees flourished the most, earning them a well-deserved Eid pizza lunch!
SSD looks forward to bringing more exciting initiatives in the upcoming term and wishes all our wonderful students and families a joyful and restful holiday break.
